SwapMode : A need for old iDevice

Did your iPhone (3G) and iPod 2nd Generation and below crashes a lot especially when you are trying to lunch games or apps that offer 3D interface and cool graphics?

Try SwapMode! There are two mode offers from this tweaks:
1. Game mode - once you on the game mode, it will respring your iDevice, what did it do is it turns off all mobile substrates (even SBSettings, iHome, etc.. will be turn off) and make your iDevice as it was freshly jailbroken.

2. Normal mode - Once you turn off the game mode, it will switch back to normal (will respring), and all the previous mobile substrate running will turn on again.

FakeLocation : Fake your real location.

Another interesting tweaks from Cydia, FakeLocation! Fake your own location so that certain apps think that you are at that fake location. Really useful if you are Foursquare addicted and want to unlock certain unlimited pin but too far away to gain it.

Not to worry no more, you don't have to spent that much money and time to reach that certain hot spot, just a few tap you'll have the ability to fly through all around the world :P .








1. Choose the app that you want to fake its location.








2. As you can see, the blue dot indicates my real location while the red pin indicates my fake location.








3. Look on top, it shows 'Your location is being faked..', which means it sucessfully faked your location and as you can see, i checked in at Archibald Fountain which located in Sweden :P .

SBSettings : The true tweaks

SBSettings are globally recognised by all jailbreaker community. It serve well to the owner of the iDevice and really do a great job. It allows user to add some switch like turning wifi on and off, turning the airplane mode, change the brightness of the screen, write a quick notes, and even kills background process.

It also has the abily to free up memory (it kills unused system process and decrease the chance of crashes especially for old iDevice user).








You can also add some app in the dock for quick access of an apps or games.

The other main feature of it is it allow user to Respring (refresh the whole SpringBoard), quickly turn of your device ad even the ability to enter safe mode manually.

SBSettings are available for free in the default BigBoss repository.

iFile : Your system file browser

iFile is one of the most important tweaks that all jailbreak iDevice need. It gives you the ability to browse through your iDevice system file and make changes, gives permission to allow some sort of stuff, and even edit the text file to change the properties of some apps or games (I also use this for the purpose of hacking some game :P).
